Proud to be Canadian
When I was younger I was never really proud about being Canadian. I love Canada but there was, or so I thought, nothing here and no one ever comes from Canada, no one ever becomes “famous” or popular. It wasn’t until about 3 years ago when I discovered a lot of Canadian actors and actresses breaking into the American industry. One of my all time favourites is Lights. I like her because her music is so different and refreshing, it’s real and relatable, fun and enjoyable. Another Canadian is Justin Bieber, although he is only 15, he has the world under his comand, well the female population that is, but it’s still great that he is Canadian.
Now that Canada is hosting the 2010, this years, Olympics, I feel proud, lol. I also love that we get to host the winter ones. It’s kind of funny because people always assume we live in Ice and Snow all year round. The will finally see Canada! Another one of the things I notice now is the ammount of Canadian bloggers and web-designers. To name a few: Carly, Gillian and Kristina! If you are a Canadian let me know! I’d love to add your site to my list of Canadian Bloggers! lol. I guess I just invented somthing new, if you want to say that.
